- Rupee opened gained for the third day in a row to open with 8-paisa at 46.63 as dollar remained pressurized against the crosses amidst positive economic data. All major indices are trading flat with a slightly bullish bias.
- Immediate resistance in Rupee comes at 46.57 (200 Daily EMA), which should be difficult to breach in today’s session.
- Dow surged by 51 points to close almost at its day’s high of 10320 on the back of better than expected housing and job data.
- Meanwhile, ECB left its key interest rate unchanged at 1% and commented that it will extend its unlimited loan offerings. It also raised its GDP growth and Inflation forecasts for 2010 & 2011.
- In spite of positive cues from Euro zone & US economic data, DXY traded in a range of 0.30 points to touch a low 82.29 as traders await the NFP data from US to determine the further direction in the currency market.
